Getting To and From London City Airport
London City Airport (LCY) is in the Royal Docks in Newham, East London, about 6 miles east of the City of London and close to Canary Wharf. It has a single terminal and handles about 3.7 million passengers a year, mostly on short business and city-break flights. Here is how pick-ups and drop-offs work with us.
Dropping you off for your flight
Your driver takes you to the drop-off area right outside the terminal. Since January 2026 the airport charges £8 for up to 5 minutes there. That charge is already in your fare, so you just take your bags and go to check-in.
Picking you up when you land
With meet & greet, your driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name board. For a standard pick-up, your driver calls you after you land and meets you in the Terminal Parking car park, which used to be called Short Stay. Waiting on the forecourt isn't allowed.
Taxi or DLR? The DLR stops at the airport, but most East London journeys need a change at Stratford or Canning Town, with your luggage. A pre-booked taxi goes door to door with no changes.
